Our Story

The establishment of Southern Cross Adjusting (Pty) Ltd traces back to a pivotal moment in the careers of co-founders Jane Jones and Chris Jones. Having worked a number of years for Charles Taylor Adjusting Limited, a global leader in the industry, Jane and Chris found themselves at a crossroads when CTA made the decision to withdraw from the South African market. Recognizing the void left by this departure and the potential impact on clients, Jane and Chris decided to take action.

With a steadfast commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and client satisfaction, Jane and Chris seized the opportunity to fill the gap and continue providing exceptional loss adjusting services in the region. In August 2022, Southern Cross Adjusting was born—a beacon of reliability and excellence, operating independently as a small team.

Their decision to embark on this journey was not merely driven by business considerations, but by a deep-rooted passion for the industry. Jane and Chris set out to create a firm that would not only meet, but exceed, the expectations of clients in Southern Africa and beyond.
